MILL MANAGER / SENIOR MILL MANAGER
About the role
As the Senior Mill Manager/Mill Manager at PH Uni Palm Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s palm oil mill. This is a full-time role based in Johor, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the strategic growth and success of the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and direct all mill operations (operators and machine) to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
- Ensure healthy yields of oil and kernel extraction rates. Production targets and wastage management.
- Ensure compliance to the DOE, DOSH, HSE, etc. regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Implement and monitor production targets, quality control measures, and maintenance schedules.
- Lead any Government accreditation requirements.
- Lead and motivate a team of mill technicians and operators.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and sustainability.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in managing palm oil mill operations.
- Degree holder in the field of Engineering.
- Experience in mill upgrading and operating 60mt/h mill.
- DOE competence person.
- Min 2nd grade of Steam/Internal Combustion Engine Engineer.
- Strong technical knowledge of palm oil processing and mill equipment.
- First-aid cert (optional).
- Strong sense of responsibility and trustworthiness.
- One who delegates the right job to the right person.
- Good decision making to determine which action yield the best outcome towards the success of the company.
- Good stress management to maintain a positive work environment.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal.
- Preferably from PRIVATE MILL.
- Job location : Jementah, Segamat & Bandar Penawar, Kota Tinggi.
