SUSTAINABILITY EXECUTIVE
About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sustainability Executive to join our team at PH PALM EXPRESS SDN. BHD. in Bandar Penawar Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the company’s sustainability policies and strategies in line with RSPO, MSPO, and ISCC requirements. You will assist in sustainability-related matters including documentation, implementation of sustainability requirements, and involvement in internal and external assessments for various sustainability and OSH standards. You will also represent the company as an MSPO Lead Auditor, leading audit teams, assessing conformity, identifying non-conformities, and following up on corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in sustainable palm oil practices.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop audit plans, prepare checklists, and monitor necessary documentation for MSPO audits.
- Lead and manage audits according to MS 2530 (MSPO standard).
- Evaluate compliance with MSPO standards and identify areas of nonconformity.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.

- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and ensure effective closure of nonconformities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in sustainable palm oil production through the audit process.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Reviewing documentation related to the MSPO standard.
- Conducting interviews with relevant personnel.
- Performing on-site assessments of palm oil mills.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of management systems.
- Identifying areas where improvements can be made.
- Ensuring that all audit activities are conducted in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Representing the organization in audit-related matters.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in the MSPO standard and related regulations.
- To monitor Safety & Health Compliance requirement; including documentation and implementation.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 – 5 years of experience in a sustainability or environmental management role
- Lead and manage audit teams, providing guidance and support to team members
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
